That is a normal issue in manual PE. When you are dealing with high pressure exercises and the think skin of the penis you may get bruising and broken vessels. Nothing to be concerned with and it will go away after a couple days.

For me I enter the tube erect but after about a minute I go semi-erect. Since I am pulling out every ten minutes to do the manual portion of the routine I return myself to a full erection and repeat.

I would not replace manual work with anything. The BathMate works best for me in a super-set scenario, 10 Minutes BathMate, 10 Minutes Jelqing, repeat 2-3 times. They work great together and better than either alone. Using the routine above I can see as much as an inch of expansion in one session.
